Ukiset
Maths
Candidates are tested on topics within KS2 and KS3 of the UK curriculum. Although no calculators are allowed, candidates are encouraged to jot down rough work during the exam. Squared paper is permitted.
Structure
Mathematics appears in Section 1 of the UKiset. There will be 20 questions to be completed in 25 minutes.
Questions are mostly multiple-choice, with some questions requiring data/numeric input. There will be no written questions where a candidate is required to show their steps of working.
There is no going back in this section - once an answer is selected and submitted, the next question appears.
Resources
Students tend to excel in mathematics by solving a variety of problems, instead of being lectured for hours. Selecting an appropriate set of exercises is key.

The above are selected for 11+, but similar books are published by the same publishers for other age groups.
Advice
Be familiar with the exam format and interface
Strike a balance between speed and accuracy - there is no going back once a question is answered
Develop mathematical intuition, sensing if a certain answer is way off track
