Who I am

Having tutored since 2020, I have worked with over 200 students in Hong Kong, who are mostly studying or are planning to study in the UK. In 2022, I was invited by Britannia, a leading agency in Hong Kong for abroad studies in the UK, to be their tutor for the competitive entrance exams, UKiset and ISEB, with most students going forward with their tutoring sessions to prepare for GCSE and A-level exams.

Seeking to make mathematics less abstract for most, I have been helping students move away from repetitive calculations, appreciating the simplicity of the subject instead. During my classes, calculators will not be a necessity at all, as problem-solving skills and attention to subtle linkages are key to success in mathematics, instead of one’s dexterity on calculator buttons.

Education & Current Studies

Completing the first few years of secondary school education in Hong Kong at St Paul’s Co-educational College (SPCC), I had the opportunity to pursue GCSEs and A-levels in the UK alongside the boys in Harrow School. I am currently a student at Imperial College London studying Mathematics in an integrated master’s programme.

I am indebted to all my teachers who I have met along the way - they have given me mathematical insights and ideas which shape who I am today. I hope to pass on their mathematical enthusiasm to those I meet down the road.
