UKiset

English

Candidates are tested on Reading, Writing, and Listening. The test mostly follows the Cambridge English curriculum. Difficulty of questions could range from CEFR A2-C1, depening on the age of the candidate.

Structure

Sections 2 and 3 of the test are dedicated to English. Listening and Reading take 45 minutes, whereas writing takes 30 minutes.

For Listening, candidates will face multiple-choice questions involving pictures, vocabulary and short phrases. Recordings will be played twice, with older students having to face multiple questions simultaneously.

The reading section comprises multiple-choice questions on simple pictures and vocabulary, gap-fill exercises for grammar, and longer reading passages for comprehension.

Students write a short piece of informative or argumentative writing in the last section of the exam. Consult for typical writing titles.
